7TH ARTS BRINGS LIVE AI TO THE SCREEN OF "CÓMO ESTAMOS HOY"
7th Art Studio, together with the production team of "Cómo Estamos Hoy" (Canal de la Ciudad), carried out an experiment in generative artificial intelligence applied to live television: a fictional scene inserted within the program's real broadcast, in which the hosts and panelists face off against a dragon live in the studio.
To achieve this, the 7th Art Studio team digitally cloned the TV set and created digital doubles of host Julián Labruna, panelists Sergio Elguezábal, Mónica Salvador, Daniel Campomenosi and Lola Cordero, along with contributing panelists Valeria Romero, Marina Torino and Florencia Toro.. The characters were animated using generative AI, and Julián Labruna's voice was digitally cloned and recreated. The soundtrack and sound design were also created entirely with AI.
The project demonstrates the level of realism artificial intelligence can now achieve in live audiovisual production, and the potential of these tools to integrate into traditional television formats.

7th Art Studio realizó, junto a la producción de "Cómo Estamos Hoy" (Canal de la Ciudad), un experimento de inteligencia artificial generativa aplicada a televisión en vivo: una escena ficticia, insertada dentro de la transmisión real del programa, donde los conductores y panelistas se enfrentan a un dragón en pleno estudio. Para lograrlo, el equipo de 7th Art Studio clonó digitalmente el set de TV y creó dobles digitales del conductor Julián Labruna, los panelistas Sergio Elguezábal, Mónica Salvador, Daniel Campomenosi y Lola Cordero, junto a las panelistas colaboradores Valeria Romero, Marina Torino y Florencia Toro. Los personajes fueron animados con GenIA, y la voz de Julián Labruna fue clonada y recreada digitalmente. La banda sonora y el diseño de sonido también se hicieron íntegramente con IA. El proyecto demuestra el nivel de realismo que hoy permite alcanzar la inteligencia artificial aplicada a producción audiovisual en vivo, y el potencial de estas herramientas para integrarse a formatos de televisión tradicionales.
